object if you try to take a toy away  – yes

work to get a toy out of reach  – yes

look for dropped object  – yes

rake with fingers a tiny object and pick it up in fist  – yes

turn in the direction of a voice  – yes

play peekaboo  – yes

50% of babies can…

creep or crawl  – yes

pass an object from one hand to the other  – yes

stand holding on to someone or something  – yes

25% of babies can…

pull up to a standing position from sitting  – She did it once, but I think it was a fluke since it has never been repeated.

get into sitting position from stomach  – no

play patty-cake or wave bye-bye  – no

pick up tiny object with any part of thumb and finger  – yes

walk holding on to furniture  – no

say “mama” or “dada” indiscriminately  – no

  1. Cool! Looks like she’s right on track! My nine month old still can’t do some of the “25%” ones!

  2. I have no idea what I was doing at that age…but I was a tad “slow”. Hehe. Sounds like she is right on track.
